Environmental psychology & How neuroscience can improve attention in the workplace

Meet Yvette who is an Workplace strategy consultant & Change & Behaviour expert. Concentration work and the ability to focus seem to be increasingly important for the health, wellbeing and productivity of employees. The aim of this presentation is to provide an overview of cognitive neuroscience research related to employees’ attention and to explore the implications of adopting a neuroscience perspective for workplace research and practice by considering unconscious processes in employees. Also practical implications will be presented for the work environment and change.

Yvette is a Senior Workplace Strategist and Change Manager at YNNO with over 10 years of work and educational experience in this field. Over the past 6 years she has specialised in how people react to their work environment and is mainly involved in projects aimed at the development of workplace strategy, work style analysis and the inclusion of employees in a new way of working. According to Yvette, it is very important to look at projects from a broad perspective, taking into account the individual, work patterns, social situations and environmental characteristics.
