What will the future of and for FM bring? What are the trends we are seeing today and what are the discussions we should be having? Where does the future of facilities lie? What are the risks and the opportunities? Can we learn from the past and what developments of other disciplines can help us? What is the impact of climate change? What type of work environment do new generations want? What does the research say kind of research do we want in the upcoming time?

The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and its alliance partner Facility Management Netherlands (FMN) have announced that next year’s World Workplace® Europe will again be held at the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam, 18 to 20 March 2020.

With record-breaking attendance, an innovative and inspirational program, and a high level of interaction among delegates, the 2019 event was a milestone for IFMA and FMN in Europe, and the atmosphere in the Kromhouthal was exhilarating. Once a manufacturing facility for large marine engines, the Kromhouthal is now a leading destination for a range of events in Amsterdam.

IFMA represents the global facility management (FM) community, with members in 100 countries. FMN is the Dutch professional association for the facility sector. Each association brings a unique approach and level of expertise to the event program, creating a valuable educational and networking experience specifically geared toward facility management in Europe.
